ADA Mentorship Program – Mentoring program
NAIA Member: Mike McCaffery – he NAIA-ADA Mentorship Program has been a fruitful initiative for both new and experienced Athletic Directors in recent years. The program works to pair inexperienced AD’s with veterans in order to begin relationships that are meaningful and beneficial to both parties.
Athletics Directors – Divisions in Basketball and mentoring program
NAIA Member: Drew Watson, discusses the divisions in basketball – which has been a closely studied and passionately debated topic in the NAIA in recent years. The task force generated by the NAIA Athletic Directors Association (ADA) has spent the past nine months researching and collecting feedback, and is now ready to share its initial findings and begin to determine next steps.
Conference Commissioners – Initial officials recruiting
NAIA Member: Mark Pope highlights commissioners’ initiative to recruit high quality officials into the NAIA officiating community. Through a new marketing campaign, and potential partnership opportunities with other industry leaders, the CCA hopes to recruit new officials that will ensure there’s an adequate pool of NAIA officials in every sport in every region, and ensure elite quality officiating in NAIA competition.
