Columbia International University, Columbia, South Carolina, is located in the heart of the NAIA Appalachian Conference. As a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) CIU has been competing with its NAIA neighbors and now officially joins the NAIA and the Appalachia Conference with 11 teams for the 2018-19 season.
