Green Mountain College – Moved from NCAA to NAIA
Green Mountain College, Poultney, Vt. is a former NAIA member (1983 to 2002). It returns to the NAIA from NCAA Division III in 2018-19. Kip Shipley joined Green Mountain as athletics director after serving as associate athletic director at NAIA member La Sierra University. As a former NAIA member, Green Mountain College will be eligible for immediate postseason competition. It will sponsor 10 sports in its NAIA first year.
Green Mountain College is one of the founding members of the Northeastern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, set to launch in 2019-20.
