Ward Mullens, Athletic Director for Cleary University
Cleary University, located in Howell, Michigan, began playing sports in 1890. After a hiatus, the athletics program was restarted in 2011-12. Over the past two years, Cleary University Cougars have won the USCAA National Championship in women’s cross country and men’s golf. Cleary University joins the NAIA with teams in baseball, softball, wrestling, men’s and women’s cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis and coed competitive dance.
